Dragon Tongue Plant (, Lóng Lì Yè) is the dried leaf of Sauropus spatulifolius, a subtropical shrub native to southern China and Southeast Asia. The leaf's elongated, tongue-like shape gives the herb its evocative Cantonese name. In Guangdong food therapy, Lóng Lì Yè is a household staple added to simple boiled soups to gently clear Lung heat, relieve dry cough, and moisten the respiratory tract — particularly during the hot, dry autumn season or in air-conditioned environments.

Sejarah & Asal Usul
Lóng Lì Yè is a regional herb with deep roots in Cantonese and Lingnan folk medicine.
