Description
Our Story
Fatigue is not a disease, but it may be a real signal from your body.
When fatigue cannot be relieved by rest, and you often experience shortness of breath, low energy when speaking, dry mouth, irritability, or low spirits, it may be related to Qi and Yin deficiency according to Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Qi deficiency may lead to low physical energy and mental fatigue, while Yin deficiency may cause dry mouth, internal heat, and irritability. Simply replenishing Qi or nourishing Yin alone may not provide complete support. EssenceQi is specially designed with the principle of replenishing both Qi and Yin, helping you restore vital energy and maintain balance in a busy lifestyle.
EssenceQi is made with carefully selected Qi-replenishing and spleen-strengthening herbs such as Codonopsis, Astragalus, and Atractylodes Macrocephala, combined with Yin-nourishing and dryness-moistening ingredients such as Polygonatum, Lily Bulb, and Ophiopogon Root. These ingredients help replenish Qi, nourish Yin, strengthen the spleen and lungs, and support body fluid production. No cooking is required — simply brew and drink, making it a convenient daily choice for restoring vitality and supporting body constitution.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will EssenceQi cause internal heat?+
EssenceQi is formulated to be mild and balanced. Radix Astragali and Codonopsis help replenish Qi without being overly drying. They are combined with Yin-nourishing ingredients such as Lily Bulb, Dwarf Lilyturf Tuber, and Bai Zhu, making the overall formula gentle. For most people, regular consumption will generally not cause internal heat. However, if you have a heat-prone constitution, you may adjust the frequency according to your body’s response.
What should I do if I experience bloating, sticky stools, or a thick, greasy tongue coating after consuming it?+
These signs may be related to excess dampness in the body. It is recommended to first regulate the spleen and stomach by removing dampness and supporting digestion before focusing on Qi replenishment. If Qi nourishment is started too early when digestion is weak, it may increase the body’s burden and affect absorption.
Can breastfeeding mothers consume EssenceQi?+
Yes, breastfeeding mothers may consume it in moderation. However, please closely observe your baby’s reaction after consumption. If the baby shows any discomfort, such as fever, rash, or unusual reactions, it is recommended to stop consumption or reduce the frequency. A suggested frequency is once every 2–3 days. If other nourishing soups are already being consumed, it is recommended to avoid taking multiple nourishing formulas at the same time. For safety reasons, breastfeeding mothers are not recommended to consume this product in large amounts or continuously for an extended period.
Does EssenceQi help with poor sleep or anxiety?+
EssenceQi mainly focuses on replenishing Qi and strengthening the spleen. It contains ingredients such as Lily Bulb, Poria Cocos, and Lotus Seeds, which may help calm the mind and support sleep quality. It may be suitable as supplementary conditioning for mental fatigue or poor sleep caused by physical weakness. However, it is not primarily formulated for anxiety or insomnia.
Can people with high blood pressure consume EssenceQi?+
In general, EssenceQi may be consumed by individuals with high blood pressure. However, if signs of internal heat occur, such as constipation, dry mouth, or increased eye discharge, it is recommended to stop consumption temporarily and consult a doctor before resuming. Individuals with high blood pressure are advised to take it before meals or on an empty stomach, and to monitor their body’s response.
I’ve NEVER liked drinking any Chinese herbal tonic, especially BA CHEN! Hated it to the core when my mum boiled for me and I would find all sort of excuses to avoid it. But this BA CHEN from foodart !!!!! OMG !!!!! What a surprise!!!!!! It’s so tasty like regular tonic soup sweet and savory at the same time and some nutty and herbs flavors… it’s so so good!!!!! I’m drinking it like regular soup with meals and gosh not only it tastes good it’s really potent and helped me with my menstrual cycle when it went haywire as I was sick. I’m really loving it very very much. I’m also trying out their other stuffs like the one to clear lungs, for beauty and 祛湿茶, so far all very yummy, hopefully it’s as potent as the ba Chen. ☺️
